Soft and fluffy raisin toast, coated with fragrant egg and pan fried till golden brown, generously sprinkled with fine cinnamon sugar. What more can I ask for to start the day? Coffee, of coz!
Trust me, this is heaven! The photo just does not do it justice. You are missing out on the smell of the egg and cinnamon... missing out on the melt in your mouth warm toast. Sugar was partially melted, but the majority of it remains in fine crystals. Just the way I like it. The slab of slightly salted butter was just dished out from the fridge, hence still hard, although I would have prefered if it was slightly more spreadable.
